Re: Branding and marketing
Dear Geri,
I just re-read my recent post on the o-a list and
greatly regret the way it came across. It was far too
stern, and well, arrogant. I apologize.
In retrospect, I can understand your view of what just
a brand is, as quite frankly, that view is widely
held. I still debate that though and do not agree with
it. People have confused that which is a "brand" from
that which is a product for a long time, and frankly,
many more will for a long time to come. This debate
will, unfortunately, likely have a life longer than any
of ours.
This has been one of the longest threads in a while and
it has been to say the least, (from my perspective
anyway), very interesting. Keep the good and
controversial posts coming. Afterall, if we all held
the same perspectives and opinions, this list wouldn't
have as much value as it does.
Cheers,
