Hi Stephanie,

This visitor model is called an "exit window" and is
most popular among porn sites who usually charge on a
CPC pricing model. Several gaming and work related
sites have also adopted this model. I recently got an
exit window when I opened an email from Hotmail that
took me to Uproar. We've found these to be pretty
effective when you consider the CPT (cost-per-transfer)
is often under $.20 per transfer. Obviously this is
also more obtrusive then a daughter window, so the
publishing site may offend users unless it is seen as a
consistent part of the user experience, the conversion
rates are also much lower. Third party tracking is
still possible post click/transfer by placing a
click-command on the landing page to track subsequent
activity. Worth a test!
