Al is right. We have one client who is having a great
deal of success with GoTo.com paying from 3 to 35 cents
per click on a lot of relevant terms. Our trial of
Google for this client netted referrals at the rate of
88 cents each. Our client has many terms to explore
with GoTo before upping the ante to the AdWords
campaign.

On the basis of only two trials, one for low priced and
one for a high priced item, out CTR with AdWords ranged
between .59 and 1.7% We have done better with (very)
targeted banner ads.
