The solution to this "problem" is that the prospective
buyer visits the site offering the market and checks to
see if the available content seems to match what is
being offered.
I have no doubts that an informed buyer would be able
to tell the difference between content for "lefty sheep
shearers" vs "righty cow cuddlers."

A better idea if for site operators with an audience to
market direct to buyers of audiences. A direct deal at
60% of the going rate is a better deal for both
advertiser and web site than for a web site only
getting 40% of the 100% paid by the advertiser to a
network.
The same money buys 66% more impressions or click
throughs and the advertisers gets those impressions to
an audience they want.
Other thoughts, criticisms?
Network folk, please don't throw any bottles,
tomatoes are messy, but less lethal.
