Whoa, I find this VERY interesting. If this is really
true, it sounds as if the dot com's STILL haven't
figured out how to market on the web and that they
STILL think that mass-blasting works the way it does
on TV and other mass media.

It would also seem to indicate a change in valuation
strategies. Remember when companies were valued at
$100 -- $200 a customer?
