While I have no personal experience with BizRate,
destination pages tend to be the least likely to annoy
visitors with popups or advertisements... simply
because a lot of visitors get to this point and have
almost a 'no-where to go' feeling. Obviously if you
just bought something from a store you don't really
feel keen on buying some more. Exit popups are a
great way to direct users to something else -- BizRate
is a great popup because it lets users tell the world
what they think of a store (a secret desire of many
internet shoppers -- especially if the experience was
a very good one or a very bad one).

The numbers show this too -- on my 'thank-you' pages,
ads (both popups and banner ads) tend to get in the
range of 5-7 times the response of standard banner ads
on the same sites (with no additional targeting). It
is an excellent place to put these types of outside
links without annoying the customer (such as how
placing a pop-up on your index page would).
