Hi Linda,

I'm afraid I wasn't clear with what I meant by the
"little guy." In general, I don't mean small
businesses, but small, 1-man, non-commercial sites who
aren't making money and can't afford to pay even $100
per month on listings at a penny per click. There are
a lot of non-commercial sites out there that have good
content and are just as deserving to be listed in
these search engines but can't afford to or don't have
a budget for such a thing.

Anyway, yes, I agree that pay per click search engines
are good for small businesses. Personally, all my
listings are at a penny per click on a wide variety of
search terms that bring in a large amount of traffic
for the price.
