First of all I am noticing that my posts take over a
week to show up. Anyone else noticing this?

What you have said is true, but this is still the
early days and right now small businesses can rank
high on these pay per click engines and take
advantage of the fact that most of their competitors
are not on these engines. I still believe that if it
ever gets to the point where only big businesses are
able to afford good ranking, another system will come
along that will again (even if temporarily) level the
playing field. I'm sure of that!
