There are several companies that distribute content
for free, but I doubt that your readers are going to
be interested in reading what they can already access
elsewhere. For example, at Moreover we offer dynamic
content to websites and email in the form of news
headlines. While this is great for keeping sites
fresh and keeping email lists informed, it's not really
the kind of thing you want to build your list around -
as users can get our headlines from all over the web,
and via email directly from us. (For example:
http://www.moreover.com/onlinecontent). One thing you
COULD do though, would be to get some free content
(ie Moreover headlines) and then SUPPLEMENT it with
your own writing. You could use Moreover or something
similar to give you a starting point.
You're going to have to offer something unique or no
one is going to read your newsletter. You've built an
audience, now make sure you have something substantial
to send them. There are a lot of places to get ideas to
speed up the process, but outsourcing the writing of your
newsletter makes it generic and potentially boring.
