I may be wrong, but 2000 does not seem like a very
statistically significant number...

There was a thread on this list a while back about
advertising on Google; if you advertise on carefully
targetted keywords and write a good ad, it seems to
be lucrative.

Goto.com is also good for getting targetted clickthroughs
for 5 cents each. (The minimum bid used to be 1 cent
until recently. If your site generates more than 5
cents per visitor, it's still worth it.)
