Yes. Every business plan has target market(s), and if its not
your target than you wasting your (investors) money.

3rd party will never know as much as I do on MY website
which is under my control.

Unless you want to give away ALL your customer information
to a 3rd party, this 3rd party will never have enough
data to target in the most efficient manner.

I am not talking about privacy issues of sites giving
away such info to 3rd party!

Having said all that I agree with al your other points.
