That click isn't a cookie.

You can remove that click sound (assuming you're
using IE and MS Windows). Click on Start/go to
Settings/click on Control Panel/double click on
Sounds/in this property box scroll down to Windows
Explorer/delete the sound speaker next to Complete
Navigation.

There you go, or you can change the sound by clicking
on the browse button on the property box and pick a new
sound.
