Excuse me, but whatever this software does can't be
called cookie in its normal sense at all.

I certainly know about slashdot, and I certainly
know how cookies work (programmed them too).

If you dont like what a particular software does then
dont use it (or modify it if you can).

You can find out what exactly it does (even sneakily)
by analysing outgoing/incoming traffic, but this topic
I believe is outside of the online-ads scope.

That pretty much sums it up.
