I can't help but add agreement two both these posts.
As a multi-theme multi-site publisher on glaring stats
looks me in the face over the years i have been doing
this. Advertisers must become part of my community,
integrating and offering a value added presence,
enriching the visit to MY site not detracting from it.
Next they will be asking us to "teleport" customers to
their brick and mortar locations. "We weren't ready!".
Pantyhose sales on the net are down, book sales suck,
excuse the terminology:-) Who's surprised? Only the
mis-informed, We have a good number of advertisers that
we have been running over 3 years. Advertisers do not
run 3 years with any vehicle unless it produces profits.
They are able to see good ROI because they work with us,
add value (content, offers directly to our demographic)
to our site and make their sites more than a 1-2 page
"special on panty hose" presence. It's not "rocket
science" but it may just a swell be looking at the
wasted millions in advertising the past 3 years.
Must be "investors money" , no right minded individual
would do it to themselves the way some of these dot.coms
did it to themselves.
Enough said:-)
