I am working in a web agency, as a consultant.
One of my customers (a leading european newspaper group),
would like me to help him choosing two kinds of partners
for his website :
1) an ad network (24/7, Doubleclick, etc..) to manage
his site's banners
2) an email provider (Message Media, email vision, etc..)
to manage his newsletters & email lists.
Among others my customer wants those two partners to
have strong targeting and database marketing capabilities,
in order to propose advertisers behavioral & pofiling
based advertising options.
If you have an experience with some big ad networks or
email provider, could you tell me :
1) if they have such database capabilities,
2) if they have references in this area,
3) what are the pros & cons of their database marketing
solution
4) what are the points that I have to check before
contracting with them
Otherwise, if you know some website where I could get
information, could you indicate it to me ?
