Help for the new kid...

As a recent entry +/- 1 year into the world of Internet
Marketing I am encountering many of the challenges that
you all face on a regular basis!

We market and sell value-priced projectors and other
projection equipment for mobile presenters from popular
brands such as InFocus, Proxima, NEC and Sharp. This is
a rapidly growing market, especially as prices continue
to fall. Am trying a number of means of online
advertising and I'm learning that the marketing is the
difficult part of the game. We've tried some email
marketing and banner advertisements and are not enthused
with the results thus far. Can't ask you guys to share
your best stuff, but I guess I will-what advertising is
truly working out there in the market? I am aware that
some of the issue may be the site itself. If you have
a minute or so for a newbee to the industry your help
