The other day a post to Online Ads Digest said that
LinkShare had filed for protection under Chapter 11.

It's not true. I contacted LinkShare's chairman,
Stephen Messer, to check.

I think it's absolutely appalling that someone would be
irresponsible enough to post such a potentially harmful
rumor without first finding out whether it's true.

Say what you like about your right to free speech. I think
the most important point is this: How would you like it if
someone spread a false rumor about your company?
