There are two ways you could go about getting sponsors
for your website.....the first approach is to "package"
website sponsorship with the other benefits you offer to
your sponsors. The alternative is to try to find
website-only sponsors. I would recommend you stick to the
first approach (it sounds to me like this is what you are
already doing). Finding website-only sponsors is difficult
and time-consuming, and you have to have a pretty substantial
on-line audience to attract interest. Because the website
is not the main focus of your organization, I think you'd
be better off packaging this as a "value-added" enhancement
to sponsor packages.
Having said that, there are ways to offer your sponsors
profile on your website that will be beneficial to them.
I invite you to have a look our home page (www.aginfonet.com)
to see how we have profiled what we call our "Major
Sponsors".
Feel free to drop me a note if you have more specific
questions on this.
