Yes Mark but what you are stating is simply that
many do not understand terminology's. Most reputable
banner ad services count unique impressions to a
page to report on their traffic. Not many do as you
say, count the delivery of 13 graphics plus the
page etc. as additional "traffic". that would be
misrepresentation to be sure. Definitions are of
course, the problem, in that when referred to
loosely and applied inaccurately your statement
rings true. To most a "hit" and an "impression"
have come to mean the same, but the definition has
also moved as well. Few would call the loading of
a graphic as a hit any more.

I may be wrong here but I just thought i had to put
in my two cents, as it does seem definitions and
their application seem to be at issue.
