Yes, I know about search engine optimization, META
tags, buying keywords, gateway pages, relevance, best
to submit by hand, etc. My question wasn't really
intended to generate a "how to get listed on Yahoo!
and other search engines."
My reason for the post was:
1) Bcentral.com had snail-mailed a slick looking product
CD dicussing their services.
2) Had phone called regarding the services.
3) Had later e-mailed even more stuff.
I was supposing that a huge company like Microsoft
(owner of bcentral.com) had some sort of special
arrangement with the major directory services. I was
curious if they could actually deliver on their claims.
But evidently (from the response on this list) they can't.
It seems sad that they are using their name recognition
to generate false hope.

Wasn't aware of the AU one, but have used the Canada
Yahoo! Thanks for the tip.
