RE: Audio ads - you're fired!

Mark, I'm not trying to be a wise-ass here, and I mean no
disrespect because I've enjoyed your contributions to the
list, but why don't you simply turn your sound off before
you go surfing to entertainment sites on company time, or
keep it off altogether? I keep my sound off all day as a
rule. It took one of those joke emails that a "friend"
sent me that when opened, screamed "HEY EVERYONE I'M
WATCHING PORN OVER HERE" in audio. While funny, it's
incredibly embarrassing to get one of these at work. Having
the sound off, I don't feel like I'm miss anything. Most
times, sites have a link to anything you'd want to hear.
If I want to hear it, I put the sound on, and then turn it
off when I'm done. I know it's a little tedious to train
yourself to do this, but it's like remembering to turn off
your headlights in the car.
Regards,
