Search engine software and ASP pages

Can anybody tell me if there are any issues about the
efficiency of search engine software reading ASP
generated rather than static HTML page content.

We would normally opt for static page content to
maximise the exposure to search engine software,
 however if with the increasing application of data
driven page content, we were wondering if search
engines will pick up on dynamic page content to the
same extent.
