Greetings all. We're working on a new format for
internet advertising: a interstitial that would be
shown for 15 seconds every 3 min. A bit like TV, a
format known to advertisers. we blame not the banner
for the fall of online advertising, but the format
of one banner in every page. If a user spends one
minute on every page on average, he will see 60
banners! Of course the vast majority will be ignored.
This ans the fact that the banner compets with the
content, and we have trouble.

We're starting to develop this technology, that will
allow any site to show in full screen state a
Flash/DHTML/GIF banner ("webmmercial") for 15 seconds,
without any major changes to the site. The webmercial
will be pre-loaded on background, garanteeing speed on
the displaying of the material.

We'd like to have input of this great list, what do
you all think about a new format like this, and what
improvements you could suggest to this project? We'll
have a beta program online by August, volunteers are
welcome too!
