Attracting unlikely sponsors

Hello,

Just wanted to first, introduce myself. My name is
Dan and I'm a web developer for the public sector. I
just signed up today.

I'm working on a site that has a very determined
audience. Along with this audience, the main function
of the site produces very low amount of page
impressions (Avg of 5 per visit). I've got about 140
members so far which generate 160 hits a month. I'm
migrating to a different ISP that charges since the
free one that I have now, cannot respond to all my
requirements.

Since I don't generate alot of page impressions and
I don't have alot of members and hits, I was thinking
if participating in a banner exchange be beneficial to
me. I was thinking of offering very low flat fees
(enough to cover my hosting fee) to 2-4 exclusive
sponsors that would have each their spot on all my
pages. Do you think that this idea would attract
sponsors that would normally not be interested? My
goal is to have this site support itself.

Best regards,

Dan Fournier
