Here are two articles about UDDI. The first dates back
to November 2000 and the second was published in June
2001.

In my opinion, it's not worth it. It would be very
costly to follow up on every new "sweeping industry
initiative" out there. Think about all the new domain
extensions available. Each claims to be the "next big
thing".

Then again, you might be missing out if one of these
actually become successful and widespread.
