The Advertising Process

For a future project I am working on now am I
interested in learning more about how ads and
sponsorships, etc. on websites are sold, brokered,
negotiated and so on.

It is the entire process from the initial contact to
the final payment I am eager to learn more about. What
is the critical points, who is responsible to do what,
is there a difference in the process depending on who
initiates the contact and so on.

When you reply please specify what role you play in
this and then outline the actual or ideal process as
you see it.

I am sure we are a lot who can learn from the
professionals on this list when it comes to complete
advertising process management or whatever we should
call it :)
