Hi John,
I think we're both right on most of these ideas.
Maybe normal and acceptable aren't the right words, but
I do think there will be "webmmercials" on a good number
of websites within the next couple years if not sooner.
Users won't like them for sure, but they didn't like
banner ads (or pop unders) when they were new, but people
now accept them (some accept pop unders) as part of the
Net.
