Price setting for Email Advertising

We have just started an email news service targeted at
executives within the European steel industry. The
circulation list is currently around 2500 and growing.
We wish to have sponsors on each daily email displaying
their logo and a banner - my question is how do I go
about setting the prices for the advertising space? Are
there any guidlines / best practice / precedents from
other industries or is it just a case of seeing what
the market will bear?
