Before our network made a choice to use an ad serving
package we did a lot of research to find out what ad
serving package would give us the greatest flexibility.
There is software capable of doing exactly what you are
looking for, but it does come at a price. Geo-targeting
is offered in many packages, and just zeroing in on US
traffic is not that complex. Reverse domain look-ups
can usually get you close and many packages offer that.
Time of day targeting is also an easy feature to find.
Even distribution is a bit harder to find and becomes
more complex when you add it to the other two features.
You may want to look into Real Media
(http://www.realmedia.com - Open Ad Stream 5.1) as a
possible solution. You will pay extra for the
Geo-targeting module, but it will enable you to dial in
by zip code and more. Well worth a look, as they do
give you all the features you are looking for. They
may be able to offer you a centrally served version of
their software that is customized to meet your needs
at a better price point. Doubleclick can also custom
tailor an ad serving package for you. Most of the big
boys (that are left) can offer you a customized system
that will cater to your needs, but as I mentioned
earlier, it will come at a price. Best of luck!
