Co-Registration efforts what do advertisers want?

I am wondering what type of programs advertisers want
in co-registration efforts. Specifically, do most
require that we collect and send the information to
the advertiser or do they prefer that we have those who
are registering as members on our site click a link
that brings them directly to their site to register?
As much specific information regarding what advertisers
want/need is appreciated as we plan to offer this option
soon and want to assure we set it up in a manner that
will appeal to potential partners.
