I know this isn't the place to promote an affiliate
program, but when you run across a good one, it's only
fair to point it out to the rest of the group. A good
affiliate program is one that a lot of people will
participate in. If an affiliate offer requires a credit
card, that is going to kill most of your participation
right there. We promote a product that is in high
demand that most people want, and it costs nothing.
It's more of an affiliate branding type campaign, but
here is the scoop:
It pays 10 cents per installation of a Napster like
service called "SwapNut." It's already being run
through many networks (L90, RankYou, etc.) and pulls
very well on our own network. We're seeing an average
of 1.5% to 3% install rate from pop-ups (That $1.50 to
$3CPM.) Now if you can sell your pop-ups for higher
rates, more power to you. But at least this gives you
an alternate product to run as remnant inventory at the
least, and we know it works because it is free and
people want to download music and other files.
Currently, networks or sites with less than 1 million
unique pop-ups per month are not being accepted. Sites
with at least 100,000 unique pop-ups per week can run
the offer at a straight $1CPM rate.
I know the CPM rate is somewhat low, but we're pushing
this more as filler ad for inventory that goes unsold
or you cannot serve on another campaign due to a
frequency cap, etc. You can run banners, solo mailings
or eZines ads as well.
We're running this at over 3 million pop-ups per day
right now, so we're getting close to where we want to be,
so if you are interested, email me and I'll see what we
can do about setting you up.
