Hello -
We are in pretty much the same situation, except that
we started with Flycast, got approached and signed with
AdSmart when they started their B2B and ended with
Engage when they bought both Flycast and AdSmart.
I saw Engage's demise coming 2 or 3 months ago when our
banner advertising revenue went down to just 10% of
previous levels. I wonder whether any other players are
going to be able to make it considering a large player
like Engage could not make the banner advertising market
work for its network.
I would be very interested to know of any good
alternatives to Engage for "focused subject" sites with
about 250,000 monthly unique visitors and about 1 million
monthly impressions. I am sure that a bunch of the current
networks will try to grab some of the old Engage network
affiliates, but I would like to hear from other list
members as to their suggestions and experiences.
