Again, the below is still the "You can make a lot of
money off of affiliate programs, read my book, go to
my website and learn how." As I said before, it's the
pyschic telling me that for $5 they will tell your future,
but they can't predict the stock market. Affiliate
programs DON'T work for a "business". If you can make
an affilliate program work, you should be working with
the company directly to create a major marketing
situation. No one in this industry is making serious
money off of affiliate programs, running a company that
is anything but a nickel and dime operation. Someone
said "Well, I make $3,000 a month off." Well, geesh,
that must put you up there with doubleclick. The fact
is I run NextCard ads on a CPA, and get a MUCH MUCH
higher cpa than they would ever ask on their affiliate
program. Using an affiliate program is for mass marketing
to the average webmaster. Expert in CPA never sign up for
them -- they contact companies and propose serious CPA
programs.
