  Good "math" results in precision and truth. Bad math
results in things like the WTC bombing because people get
distorted views of "truth". The problem with the math
above is that there is insufficient information and that
the context is not clear enough to evaluate more precisely.

  Some very simple questions, just for starters: (1) how
many merchants with what products, with what marketing?
(2) how many affiliates with what marketing, effort and
follow-through? (3) How are income results skewed and how
does that affect the evaluation? And on and on.

  I agree with those who claim that affiliate programs work
and do not work, just like Internet marketing.
