Let me ask you a question, Mr. Crawford, and please
forgive my sarcasm. If you were buying an automobile,
and you asked the gas mileage, and the salesman said
"Really great, but I wish I could give more specifics but
I can't ..." Wouldn't you tell him exactly where he could
stick his vehicle?

My principal beef with this sector of the industry is that
they will not tell us what the averages are for *individual*
participants before we sign up. "That CJ pays out millions
of dollars in commissions each month to publishers" is
utterly meaningless when it is likely you have tens of
thousands, if not millions of publishers. I would be shocked
if the average is over $100 a month - or even per quarter.

I'd just like to see some truth in advertising in this sector.
"You can make some extra coffee money" would about cover it.

I have been watching some of the pro-affiliate comments with
much interest the past couple weeks. One thing that keeps
coming up is "you can't just do a banner, you have to
(insert vague marketing bumphf here about "integration or
somesuch"). Could you be a little less vague? What
specifically besides advertising are you doing to drive traffic
through your affiliate sections?

I have been on the sidelines due to personal and business
commitments, which is why I have been quiet for so long, but
I did have two responses to my "gauntlet" that were interesting.
One I will be in touch with shortly, but the other, Kiss.com,
just got back to me with a rather terse rejection form. They
won't state why they won't accept me. Perhaps they have a
salesman here who knows I would be reporting their delivery
<g> (or maybe I am just being paranoid about that?).
