Re: Web publishers in trouble

Re Wayne's comments (Nov 13th) I largely agree.

Online publishers that are able to segment the User
market and put advertisers in front of 'interested
and qualified' Users will do OK.

We have recently opened 2000+ generic websites, so
I know we can offer advertisers targeted audiences.

If properly established, another benefit that
advertisers should not over look with respect to
online advertising is that User movements can
be tracked, i.e., we will be able to tell what
websites Users skip to (Cars to Wines to Holidays)
i.e., the Internet can better track User
preferences which is handy for advertisers
wanting to target particular demographic groups.
This is something that print can't do very
effectively.

So unique web publishers do have a great future.
