Re: CPM isn't dead, it's just sick

I'm finding the ongoing debate about CPMs,
CPCs and CPAs very informative, even if the
topic does continue to get resurrected every
six months or so.

Has it occurred to anyone that BOTH sides
are right?

This debate reminds me of that page in my old
high school Psychology Book. I'm sure most of
you have seen it, the page that has a picture
that 50% of the people perceive to be an
hourglass, and the other 50% perceive to be two
faces staring closely at each other. Our teacher
asked the class to talk about what they saw, and
what broke out was a very heated exchange over
what the picture actually was.

Who was right? Both were of course. It's all
about perception and what works for you. Why does
every site (aren't there tens of millions?)
have to have the same pricing model?
