How to sell ad space?

Hello, dear colleagues,

I am new in this forum.

I am responsible for selling ad space for web site with 600000 monthly
page views and 75.000 monthly visitors. I tried some affiliate programs
and there earn only few 100 $ in all year.

Can somebody recommend me where to look for agent or agency to help me
sell ad space? I posted job opportunity on many job boards and
freelancers sites, but obviously nobody like to do this job. I just got
many offers to buy advertising or millions of spam emails . But how can
I finance ad caimpagn if I do not sell my ad space first?
What are your experiences?
