You may want to try cost per lead advertising. You'll see
better results per dollar you spend. Commission Junction
(www.cj.com) can do it.

As a side note, I use to work for Quote.com (programmer and
marketing, 95-98) which I think still does what your company
does. A good place to find potential clients is
www.adtrader.com. Its a banner exchange dedicated to the
financial industry. I use to run a mailing list for Quote.com
too that was dedicated to monitoring the online financial
industry. We got a lot of our enterprise clients from that
list. Me and a partner left when we sold the domain trade.com
to blue stone capital for about a million dollars.
