HTML emails clearly have their advantage over their
text peers in terms of presentation, tracking and
response. But the major drawback to full adoption by
ezine/newsletter publishers of HTML emails is still the
inconsistent support of HTML within some email clients.

As far as I've tested, clients like Outlook Express and
Eudora 5.x series support HTML perfectly. Web based
clients like Hotmail and Yahoo are ok too. But I'm not s
ure about AOL as I don't use them. Does anyone know of
statistics or other email clients and their support for
HTML?

Personally I'll be using HTML for a new ebusiness
newsletter I'm launching. It is clearly superior in
terms of presenting information in a more readable format.
