Re: Text vs. HTML Emails Ads
First let me say a thank you to you Cliff for running
all of these posts on HTML and Text email issues. I
found several posts with very insightful information
and was able to follow-up on them and learn... and
that's what this is all about!
I'd like to reply to comments made by Kyle Yamnitz who

This issue is kind of like the CPA/CPM issue in that each
site owner should know what works for them AND their
audience. We provide financial newsletters. Putting a
stock chart in the email is powerful. Putting a quick
link to more information is powerful. This benefits the
recipient.
Advertisers that want to send HTML email ads to our
clients recognize this as well. We have repeat
advertising customers because of this ability. Well
designed HTML ads generally out perform text ads. We
have generated approximately $125,000 in revenue over
the last 12 months because we have the ability to
send HTML emails. While this revenue is not
"significant" to our business, it is very welcome and
we expect it to grow in the years to come.
