See? There you go. More proof that one man's meat is
another man's poison. I have affiliate programs for
my stuff, and it provides a trickle of income. Does
that mean affiliate programs don't work?
Nah.
It means I have nowhere near the expertise and ability
that Allan has when it comes to affiliate marketing.
I also probably don't have the dollars per item that
drive any commission-based sales program. Just as in
the CPA vs. CPM deal, it works some places, it might
not in others.
That's nothing new. Different categories react
differently to various tactics, which everyone seems
to know, with the possible exception of the
telemarketing guy who interrupts your dinner.
