Re: Text vs. HTML Emails Ads

I would say the 'Last In First Out' (aka LIFO) is the method I use to
manage all incoming email.
The last message --that is not by date but by time/space/trouble--
coming in my email box is the first to go into the trash folder. I'm
saying it not only because of files over 30-40K that are stressing
both the email clients I'm equipped of (Outlook and Eudora). The
problem is the same when a small HTML email recalls for large or
small images to reach you while manage the email clients. So form and
contents, the both finish into trash (no reading at all). I treat
that like spam --see the we-respect-your-online-time golden rule.

Most of big brand newsletter I was reading --long time ago-- had the
option to select text or html mode. Despite of my wants, after 3-4
times of receiving text issues, they turned the e-news into HTML! I
mean eMarketer, Nielsen//Netratings, AppleNews and other of this
fame. It's a kind of upselling, I thought of...

Paid my dues, but you?

-Roberto Dondi
