I use WebTrends ERS for general log analysis and campaign
tracking. You can use unique landing pages and/or query
strings with your online creative placements to track
visitor response. If you go to the advance features
configuration tab in WebTrends ERS and use the "URL
Paramter Analysis" feature, you can track and count
visitors from each of your ads/properties in a very easy
fashion. Then by configuring the content groups in the
advanced features section as well, and/or by using cookies,
you can learn more about users pathways through your Web
site.

I have used reports from WebSide Story's Hit Box and
Accrue's Hit List a few years ago, and I liked Web Trends
better. Just my personal preference. I have seen demos of
the NetGenesis product a while ago which looked
really cool, but it is pretty pricey.
