New format online ads are actively used at the moment.
These are floating flash ads. They have no specific file
size or shape.

I would classify these ads as follows
By number of elements: 1, 2, 3, ... (We call them teaser,
main movie, reminder)
By position of the ad element: fixed to the element of the
web page or scrollable.
By screen size of the ad: in pixels or in percent of the
screen.

Size of the file? I saw it from 5 Kb up to 300 Kb.

The rest would be really hard to classify. It's like trying
to classify TV commercials.
It's limited by designer's imagination only.
