      In response to Bryan Fitts question about SPRINKS
and how it compares to other PPC search engines: I've
written about sprinks in my newsletter several times,
and despite a good friend at the time being the VP in
charge of Sprinks, I hadn't good things to say about it.
Sprinks used, (as does BidCLix) a method of generating
clicks that I feel is unethical and misleading. Despite
vendors expecting to buy clicks in certain catagories
and expecting that the person clicking on their link will
be interested in a "credit card" or "viagara", SPRINKS &
BIDCLIX run pop-ups on a variety of sites that do
"automatic" searches of pre-arranged topics. Also,
SPRINKS has arranged that their links are placed all over
the net on a variety of sites that often have nothing to
do with the link. Thus, your placement for "used
cars" might find itself in the sex section of Salon.com.
