I used Sprinks about 1/2 a year ago and found that it was able to send
A LOT of click through traffic to http://www.RentACoder.com ... which is
a tech related site like your hosting company. I was initially
delighted until I actually started measuring the quality of the traffic.
I implemented a CRM system to track the conversion rate of these
click throughs and it was about 1/10th of what Overture click throughs
were doing! I have a feeling a lot of these were automated bots and
such, because they run these ads on a lot of litle web sites that most
likely don't do filtering...but I could be wrong. Either way, the
quality was very poor.
In my case it didn't make sense so I ended up dropping them. However,
in the end the only way to find out if it works for you is to try it
yourself and measure the results in a similar way. Good luck!
