Michael wrote about my brilliance:

"You're dead on about the spam cops. I used to work
for a major email marketing company that got block and
subsequently sued MAPS in 2000. Historically MAPS has
been the worst but I think they're running out of
money and consequently bite."

Thanks Michael - but not only am I right, but I've pointed out that MAPS
has some serious problems that they aren't willing to address. The first one
the founders of MAPS have a stake in email companies that sell their
services, partially based on the fact that they don't get blocked from the
SPAMCOPS of the world. Am I missing something here? These guys control the
blackhole list, and have the ability to spam people without any major
hurdles because they control the method of retalliation. Also, what could be
easier in getting rid of your competitors? Someone needs to examine if there
is any unfair and illegal business practices.

  Thanks,
