Well, seeing as I'm a publisher, I wouldn't be whining
about not getting my content free would I?

I do have to worry about alienating my readers though.
They didn't run away when we introduced pop-unders. They
didn't complain when we added skyscrapers. I got complaints
about JavaScript errors and other things when I used InVue.

The one thing I really don't like about InVue: it hijacks
the content until you deal with it. With a pop-up you can
just click anywhere in the content window quickly and
continue reading. With the InVue banner, you have to deal
with it before you can do anything else. If it ticks me off
and I'm a publisher, I can't imagine what it does to my
readers.
