The competition may have found that a greater success rate
is experienced with a fifteen day trial instead of thirty days.

The most appropriate question is how long should it take
someone to give your software a serious test? If it is a
week, give them two weeks to test it. If it is a month,
give them forty-five days, etc.

If the software can be tested in a day, give people seven
days to test it. That should be plenty. After all, you are not
in the "freeware" business.
